According to https://anki.tenderapp.com/discussions/ankidesktop/33348-notadirectoryerror-errno-20-not-a-directory-mpv, installing mpv (https://mpv.io) with sudo apt install mpv or from https://launchpad.net/~mc3man/+archive/ubuntu/mpv-tests should fix this error.
