Not able to create a deck named Digital Logic

There are less extreme ways than “delete all your decks” to force the Default deck to appear. So if you don’t want to try that – this should work:

  1. Manage Note Types > choose “Basic” > Cards > top “Options” drop-down > Deck Override
  2. Start typing the name of a deck and a list of existing decks will appear.
  3. If the theory holds, that list doesn’t include a deck called Default, but it does include a deck called Digital Logic – select that deck.
  4. Add a note of type “Basic” – that card should be created in the “Digital Logic” deck.
  5. Rename that deck to Default, which should free up the deck name you want – rename “Digital, Logic” to Digital Logic
  6. Clean-up – turn Deck Override off for the “Basic” note type – delete the note you created (and the Default deck should disappear).
