No version working on Mac OS Big Sur

Hi there, I recently upgraded to Big Sur and am now getting the following error messages:

I have tried opening Anki while holding “shift” but the same errors pop up. I tried installing 2.1.38 and 2.1.35-standard and have restarted my laptop after installing each, to no avail. Please help!

It might mean that the Shift key was pressed too late or released too early. If the Shift key is holded down correctly, there will be a tooltip - “Shift key was held down. Skipping automatic syncing and add-on loading”.

This tip was a game changer, thank you!! Thanks to your response, I was able to update all my add-ons and Anki is now working correctly.
