I often find myself missing a menu entry during review/learning: copy note
I know this function is available when editing a note, but I don’t understand why I can’t copy a note directly from the menu accessible during review/learning. Of course, the ‘copy note’ option could remain in the editor menu, top, but it should also be available in the menu used during learning (where ‘delete note’ is already present).
Why is ‘copy note’ important to me?
Here’s my workflow:
Often, while reviewing, I come across a new synonym —especially when I’m learning in reverse (from the foreign language to my native language). I translate a foreign word into my native language, and sometimes my answer is a synonym that doesn’t yet exist in my deck. In these cases, I want to duplicate the card and update the translation on the copy to include the new synonym. Right now, I have to go into the card editor to do this, simply because the menu entry is missing during review.
It would be much more efficient if I could copy a note directly from the learning/review menu. Please add this menu entry in AnkiDroid.
