Memory retention study using Anki [Japanese learners]

Hey everyone,

I am doing a study on memory retention using Anki and I am looking for people learning Japanese. My study is to investigate the benefits of Anki and my thesis is on the topic Japanese and that is why I need learners of Japanese. My deadline is march 21, so next week on Friday.

The study lasts for four weeks. Participants will use either a program or their own method to study 10 new words each day until they have studied 150 words. After reaching this goal, they will continue actively reviewing these words daily, either using the program or their own method. After four weeks, no further vocabulary study is required.

The study includes two interviews: one before the study begins and one after its completion. Additionally, participants will take three short vocabulary tests, all of which can be completed online via Google Forms.

To participate, you must be able to read Hiragana and be either a current or former student of Japanese. The focus beginner and intermediate students of Japanese. You can not join the study if you are too advanced.

This sounds you like you are looking for beginners but it’s not totally clear; could make sense to test how advanced learners learn 150 words? I think it would be helpful anyone interested to clarify what level learners you’re looking for.

Beginner and intermediate people are the scope of the study. How advanced people would learn 150 words can be an interesting study by itself and during my career as a researcher I would like to do it. I will change the post to make it more clear thanks for the advice.
