I wanted to update to the new version of Anki today, but unfortunately the options-screen doesn’t work anymore. The only thing that is shown is an empty window (see screenshot in the attachment). It doesn’t work if I start Anki without addons either.
I’m still using a very old Imac from 2010 on the latest version of MacOS High Sierra (10.13.6).
Could one of the developers please look into this problem?
Especially since you just upgraded, for this issue you should try the Troubleshooting checklist first – Troubleshooting - Anki Manual . Start with #2 and #6 (try all options, restart after each change).
Was this a fresh install, or an upgrade? It’s probably a good idea to roll back to an earlier version (or the version you were using before) until someone can take a look a this.
Can you get to the Profiles window (File > Switch Profile)? Make sure to “Downgrade and Quit” to protect your database.
I have the same problems with the options button. My mac is Sonoma 14.4 and I have the latest version of Anki I think which is the macOS 10. 13.4+ (Intel 24.06.2 Qt5). I tried all ways listed on troubleshooting guide and reset window size. I restarted many times and deleted all of the addons, but the options button still showing a blank window.
