I am currently using the “easy (type in)” template to add cards to my deck. Everything works fine but the line breaks are not properly shown in the solutions (backside of the cards).
So when I add a new card in this style:
This is the first line of text => a point below => another point below
and I add it to the deck, this is how it’s being shown when I later go through the cards:
This is the first line of text => a point below => another point below
Can somebody help me to properly keep the added line breaks?
Is your interface in a language other than English? I think you’re using what is ordinarily called the “Basic (type in the answer)” note type – where Anki compares your answer to the correct answer character-by-character? If so, that will strip out all formatting, including line breaks.
Type-answer fields are suitable for very short answers where spelling is important, but not really suitable for a multi-line list. A different style of note might be a better fit for what you’re doing.
