Hi everyone, I’m using type-in-the-answer cards for vocabulary practice and want to make the typing practice more strict. Currently when I make an error, Anki shows the correct answer but lets me continue without actually typing it correctly. I’m looking for a way to force typing the correct answe…

Do you need the system to force you to do this though? It seems like you could add a text entry box on the back of the card, and re-type the answer for yourself before grading the card Again.

Hey! Thanks for the suggestion - that’s a good point! I tried it but found that Anki only allows one typing field per card. When I add a second {{type:}} field on the back, it gives an error.

Perfect! The “Reviewer” addon is exactly what I needed! Just installed it and it works perfectly - now Anki actually forces me to type the correct answer. Thank you so much!

Is there any method to force correct answer typing before proceeding to next card?
