I wish I could go back about 2-3 weeks ago when I was able to input answers in ANki.

Something got messed up now there is no input box for answers…

You actually can turn back the wheel of time by restoring a backup: Backups - Anki Manual

You could also provide screenshots of your card templates to fix them.
