Is it worth to reset my FSRS?

I’ve been using FSRS in for the past 8000 reviews. For however long ago it was, I remembered my controller got disconnected and I had reconnect it. Since then, some cards showed up on the same day even though I selected 4 days for review. I just found out that some buttons are switched on my controller. Instead of pressing hard, I’ve been pressing again. Easy and good buttons were also switched. I’ve been doing this for a while. Since I got these all mixed up, should I reset my FSRS for anking deck?

I’m not sure what you mean by “reset FSRS”. You can reset cards themselves, so that they are treated as new.

Do you know how long you were studying with incorrect buttons – how many reviews are potentially incorrect?

You can exclude previous reviews from the calculation using “Ignore cards reviewed before”.
deck option → Advanced → “Ignore cards reviewed before”

I hadn’t ever considered this failure mode, but I can certainly understand how this could happen without being noticed.

Add this to the list of reasons why Good and Again should be the sole default answer buttons.

It’s a reason for visual feedback which is available through add-ons and in the mobile apps, and would immediately reveal the issue. But I don’t see how it’s related to limiting the number of grading buttons. 2 buttons can get mis-mapped, same as 4.
