Importing BYKI lists (.b4u format) to Anki?

Hello,

I have searched high and low and I can’t find a script, program, or some work around to bring 10000+ cards I made from 2010 to 2017 with the Transparent Language Program called BYKI for studying Arabic into Anki. I’m not a programmer, but I imagine it’s a much more basic format because it’s older technology. Much like Anki it is essentially spreadsheet columns which have sides of the flashcard, an associated sound that is attached to the card, and an image. There should be a way to ingest it. Transparent language stopped supporting the software when they went to a more lucrative online subscription model, that most people studying languages probably don’t want or need. I have thousands of hours invested in the cards I built. The best I can do is one file at a time export them to a spreadsheet, but I would loose all the sound and picture files that were added. Anyone know how I could have a converter program built? Happy to send an example file. Thank you!

Some example file would be nice.

Someone already made an anki addon for 2.0 so I guess it shouldn’t be hard to redo it from the source code: BYKI b4u files importer.

Since you’re only gonna do it one time and(hopefully) never go back to BYKI, you could download Anki 2.0 and this addon, import your lists, export them and then import them back to your current anki version.

Hi. Do you still have those files? I think I can help you if you are willing to share the flashcards you made.
