Impact of a separate incremental reading deck on FSRS scheduling?

I have a problem in which after reading a book I forgot most of it.

I have an idea which might help me I am intent to import book highlights in form of an Anki cards, but I don’t want to try to memorize paragraphs of texts which I don’t need to.
Instead, all what I want is to improve my retention of that texts by just basically incrementally reading them. So I will read that text and push ‘good’.

I was thinking to set this up by creating a separate deck with its own settings at which I will set up extended learning steps from 1d 2d 4d 8d 16d up to 365 days. So by doing so I will review/read texts over and over, incrementally as I need.

My concerns about this is how separate settings with beyond 1d interval would impact FSRS in my other settings? Like, I use FSRS for memorization properly with an active recall. But how does such incremental reading/reviewing in parallel deck would impact FSRS?

Some people might recommend to use active recall in form of Q/A type of cards, but I still would like to try to use this method of incrementally reviewing/reading book highlights.

If this deck has its own settings, it would not share FSRS parameters with any other decks, and would have no impact on scheduling of other decks.
