In the thread, @Dae resolved it by restoring a server backup. I’m hoping this is possible for me too.

I checked the AnkiWeb account associated with the email address you used to post here.
It doesn’t look like you’ve been actively using your account recently. Server-side backups are only regularly made for accounts with changes, so the last backup in your account is from December 2025. [Like all automatic backups, it does not include media.]
Please confirm if you want me to restore that backup to your AnkiWeb account. It will overwrite the collection that is currently there.
In order to merge your local collection and your AnkiWeb collection, you’ll need to do a few extra steps to preserve your local collection – Syncing with AnkiWeb - Anki Manual – so do this first before confirming.
