Html editor formatting

When I open the html editor, I see a monolithic block of text. The comment at the top of this addon https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1043915942 seems to imply that anki has a built in editor with formatting. I noticed there is also another add on which uses beautiful soup. I just wanted to check that what I’m seeing is what I should be seeing by default and that I don’t have some kind of conflict in my system. If it is, I’ll look at installing one of the addons mentioned above. Thanks.

Editor option to beautify HTML/CSS

Quite often I find myself in Anki’s HTML editor for some slightly advanced formatting. It would benefit however from some (optional) formatting (multi-line, identation, wrapped lines at maybe 80 characters) to find content faster and make editing easier.
