Hi.
When I’m learning Japanese through watching Jp content and mining I get this annoying message telling me “Colletions synced” EVERY DAMN MINUTE (or so). Sorry for caps, but I’m really pissed off about this.
I went to my anki settings and turned off everything regarding “auto sync” or “periodic sync”. The only thing left is “Sync audio and images too” but that shouldn’t be a problem since it literally only asks whether to sync media files between devices or not. Sometimes it even changes focus from my browser to Anki app and this is when it gets REALLY ANNOYING. Like, why the hell this happens? It’s not difficult for me to press one button after I did some studying to sync my collections to AnkiWeb, I don’t need it auto synced every few minutes. The funny thing I noticed is that the collections aren’t even being synced but this freaking message still pops up! It just annoys me for no freaking reason!
I guess this is some sort of bug because this isn’t how it’s supposed to work.
I doubt I can even do something about it unless it has been fixed in the code itself.
Does anyone have similar issues? Maybe you fixed it somehow? I’d appreciate any help regarding this issue.
P.S. my anki version is:
“Version 25.02 (038d85b1)
Python 3.9.18 Qt 6.6.2 PyQt 6.6.1”
P.S.S.: the thing I also noticed is that this message appears more often when I actively mine words. When I stop doing this its frequency subsides but still continues to appear from time to time.
