How to migrate to Anki while keeping my streak and card history? (NOJI)

Hello,

I’ve been doing my flashcard reviews for over 800 consecutive days on another app (Noji), and I’d like to migrate to Anki. However, I have two main concerns:

  1. Preserving my streak: This is a major source of motivation for me, and I’d prefer not to lose it when switching apps.
  2. Keeping the card history and learning progress (few decks): I don’t want to start from scratch. My cards already have a history of reviews, intervals, and other learning data that would be a shame to lose.

Is there a way to transfer my decks and cards to Anki while preserving these two elements? Or is there a solution to maintain my streak elsewhere?

No experience with noji, but there is this addon: Copycat Importer (AlgoApp/Noji).

But:

Importing of study progress and deck options is not supported yet.
Importing of image occlusion cards is not supported.

As far as I know (based on my research) you cannot import your card history, unless Noji exports that data.

The streak in settings depends on the card history, so that wouldn’t work either. The streak from the review heatmap addon could be adjusted with another addon, though, e.g. Backfill a Day (Heatmap Streak Fixer) (I did not test that addon).

Feel free to ask in the support page of that copycat importer addon (Copycat Importer (AnkiApp/AnkiPro)). Abdo is one of the anki devs and also the dev of that addon; if some of my info is outdated, he’ll likely know.

Thank you So Much for your clear answer, Anon_000!! I’m going to check with the Copycat Dev. then! Hope I can find a solution somehow (I mean, even if it’s not a perfect solution).
