How to enter "\(" or "\)" - backslash+parenthesis literally?

When I’m trying to insert something like this: \(abc\) into my note it converts my input automatically into mathjax block.
I tried using additional escape like \\(, \\\(.
I also tried using character codes: \( and \).
The effect is always the same: it automagically converts to mathjack block.
Is there any solution?

They can’t be escaped, so you’ll need to insert something between the characters, like a zero width space.

I see, \‍( does the job!
