How to calculate the number of unique words in a field

Hi,

I would like to calculate how many unique words I have in a field
For example, if I have two cards and both have the same word “Dog” in the KeyWord field then I would have only 1 unique word.

Is there a way to do this?

Not directly, but I’m wondering if you could cobble together a figure by knowing how many cards/notes you have total (easy to find in the Browse window), and subtracting from that the results of a Duplicate Check (Browsing - Anki Manual) on that field? Would that be about right?

Look here at the solution given to your problem. The first solution given (from “ellipsis” on 10 March 2019) should work.

You would need to add it to the appropriate template and Card Type, enclosed within tags, of course.
