Gather new cards from random decks

I appreciate you taking another look at the differences in the suggested solutions. I don’t agree that there’s anything “dangerous” about using Reposition. But I do hear the overall point – you’d prefer to have a random-deck gather.

If someone is interested in implementing that, it will help that we’ve fleshed out the issues, here and in other threads. [And I think your list of links will be a useful reference too :+1:t4: – even if a few of them are outdated v1/v2 issues.]

Is it possible for gathering new cards to pick the next (ascending) new card from a randomly chosen subdeck?

In other words, choose the next new card in this way: out of all the subdecks d1, d2, d3 of parent deck D, choose randomly d1 or d2 or d3, and then given that randomly chosen subdeck – call it d – pick the top new card from d?
