I have zero idea on what could be causing this to happen.
I tried to copy bits and pieces over to SpanishDict, and when that caused nothing to happen, I then copied over the entire code. Which then caused it to disappear.
So it’s either something with the code itself or something about my setup that it just can’t handle.
I’ve tried using all three ways of RHVoice: Source, Snap, and AUR. None of them showed up in AwesomeTTS, even if they worked perfectly fine. And I need to use the Snap version anyway because I need to use Dünýä.
Can anybody lend a hand?
I want to make sure I understand – because as far as I know, AwesomeTTS doesn’t support RHVoice. Are you trying to modify the add-on to add support for it?
That might be a question that would be better to raise with the add-on developer in GitHub. GitHub - Vocab-Apps/anki-awesome-tts: AwesomeTTS Anki Addon
No, it definitely supports it. I checked.
Actually, I forget how I even got knowledge of RHVoice’s existence in AwesomeTTS. If it’s so obscure not even you know, maybe it’s best to bring it to the head honcho.
The implementation of RHVoice in AwesomeTTS only supports Linux. That’s probably why it’s so obscure.
It does exist though. I’ll ask the dev and see what I get from the results.
That’s probably why it doesn’t show up for me! And if it’s a supported service, then Luc will definitely be the right one to take a look at the issue.

Hi,sorry for replying a month later.RHVoice is a very ancient platform and its audio quality is now going to be way behind other platforms. It's probably from what I can tell, either:
- The code for the RHVoice implementation when bits and pieces=0A are put in is fine, but together AwesomeTTS hates
- Un-updated pieces of code (maybe something just doesn't exist=0A anymore, culprit may be rhvoice.sd being missing)
- Or maybe the comment is wrong (maybe it only supports one very=0A specific version of Linux)

Unfortuately, I forgot Google Translate doesn’t have Serbian here. Sooooo oops.
Oh well. Guess that’s not gonna be resolved any time soon.
