Feature Request: Button to graduate card to next day without clicking Easy

I am indeed in the 2nd year. The 1 second interval is on paper 1 second long but in practice the cards that come before that in the queue would push the card further. So in reality a 1 sec interval is just really a whatever-long-it-takes-me-to-rate-the-newly-introduced-cards-before-that long interval.

But I didn’t know that rating Hard influences the interval for the short term. How does it do that if my learning steps are already set in place?

Sorry if the question is stupid. The last time I have ever clicked the hard button was 2 years ago since I first started learning with Anki.

  • Hard repeats the current step.
    • If the card is on the first (and the only) step, the delay is 50% larger than the step. But, this delay is at most one day larger than the step.
    • If the card is on the first step and the you have configured more than one step, the delay will be the average of Again and Good, i.e., the average of the first two steps.
    • If the card is on any subsequent step, Hard repeats the previous delay.
