Fail card if other "linked" card does not pass

In Wanikani, there two notes associated with an entry — a reading and a meaning note. If you fail to pass one of these, then the entire entry fails and both the reading and meaning cards are pushed back. Is there a way to do a similar thing in Anki, that is, to “link” a card to another and have both of them fail if you do not pass one?
