Hi All,
I have downloaded and imported an Anki Deck from the following link to learn languages and its giving me the following error.
blog. fluent-forever.c o m/gallery

Back template has a problem:
Found ‘⁨{{#Optional: Any extra info (Back side of both cards)}}⁩’, but there is no field called ‘⁨Optional: Any extra info (Back side of both cards)⁩’

Is there who can help me with this error?
Thanks very much for the support guys!

Make a manual backup first and try deleting this:

Hi @cqg ,
Thanks very much for your help and support so far.

I did as you asked but I am afraid this is what happened.
Is there anything else we can try?

Try to delete the whole last line

I think the problem is that the code has a colon after the word “Optional”, while the actual field does not:
Optional: Any extra info (Back side of both cards) vs Optional Any extra info (Back side of both cards)

You should be able to fix this by renaming the field:

  1. Open this window
  2. Click on “Fields”
  3. Click on “Optional Any extra info (Back side of both cards)”
  4. Click on “Rename”
  5. Add a colon after the word “Optional”, then save

I think the reason why an error message kept appearing even after you deleted the line of code is because the card template number 1 still contained such code.
Note that the error message in your screenshot talks about card template 1, but your screenshot is of card template 2.
It should not be necessary to edit the card template aymore, but if this does not fix it, please post a screenshot of card template number 1

Hi @jcznk,
Thanks sooooo much for your help bro!

You post helped me find the solution to the issue.
I deleted all the colons after the word “Optional” after clicking on the “cards” button in card type 1 and card type 2

==========================
Full steps to resolve issue

  1. Open this window

  1. Click on “Cards”
  2. (In Card Type 2) Click on “Back Template”
  3. Remove all colons after the word “Optional”
  4. Then choose Card Type 1 from drop down menu
  5. Click on “Back Template”
  6. Remove all colons after the word “Optional”
  7. Save

Thanks and credit goes to @jcznk  :index_pointing_at_the_viewer:
