Suggestion: Add Banner to display Anki latest version, Documentation and FAQ pages:

There already is a dismissible “Welcome” banner – which includes a link to Getting Help - Anki Manual .
Is there something particular – in the text or in the banner settings – that you would like to see change?
Banners take up screen space, and the larger they are, the more likely they are to be dismissed by new users (and frustrating to experienced users). I wonder if it would be useful to make it non-dismissible, and associate it with the forum “trust” levels instead?

The Syncthing forum, first image, does a great job demonstrating how useful a banner can be
Sure +1, although would see a case for members (T2 level) to be interest in latest release version and date text (if added) though forum banner
I like it, it looks nice. To me it also seems more likely to be read then the message that currently appears with a prominent X icon on the side.
