Please help, I created a problem in my deck of Japanese Cards. I deleted a few fields, and my deletions made all these extra cards that I don’t use. I can’t figure out how to delete or remove them. I deleted them, and all my cards were deleted so I had to use my backup. Any help is greatly appreciated. I searched Reddit, Anki Forum, and the Internet and I can’t find a solution. I have 10,408 cards suspended and it from these 4 cards.

It looks like something in your note type is out of control. Perhaps they have some scripts that depend on particular fields.
If these are card types you never plan on using for anything and you are fine losing them permanently, you can delete the templates that create those cards. In the left sidebar, right-click on one of them and open the “Cards” window. In the “Card Type” dropdown, choose each of them, and then in the top-right “Options” menu, choose “Remove Card Type.”
Once you’re done with that, come back out to the main window and go to Tools > Check Database. Hopefully that will clear out all these unnecessary cards and get you back to normal.
A couple of notes for the future –
(1) You are in charge of adding and removing notes – Anki is in charge of making and deleting cards (based on the instructions you give it). So you can’t just delete one or several cards. The Notes menu “Delete” action deletes notes, not cards.
(2) The next time you step wrong like that, just click Edit > Undo to go back a step.
