Hi Damien,
I’ve been using the dictionary support via url-scheme on iOS for a very long time.
In the meantime I think “deepL” with its neural engines has shifted translation to a completely new level.
And I was wondering, if it wouldn’t be possible to integrate the deepL pro API directly into Anki as an option.
I would even be willing to pay for a normally not so liked subscription to the Anki app.

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll keep an eye on demand for this.

Hello, do you know the word search url scheme for LDOCE plus, or Oxford or Cambridge, I would like to add it to anki. Thank you!

Hi @Turmfunk , I don’t know whether this helps you, but the Language Tools addon can generate batch translations using DeepL as well as a bunch of other translation APIs: Language Tools
It requires a paid subscription but a trial is available.

I have not used those apps; if you contact their developers they are in a better position to tell you if they support a URL scheme.
