If your collection database is corrupted, deleting desktop Anki won’t change anything because your collection is safely stored separately from the app.

My question for you – Are you satisfied with the version of your collection you have either on your phone or on AnkiWeb? If so, that will be the easiest path to fixing this.

But if you would lose too much data by resorting to one those, and you want to try to recover the database you have on desktop, there may be a few things you can try.
