AnkiMobile does not currently support custom servers, but there’s a reasonable chance this will change in the coming months.

Hello, I’m a iOS Anki user from China, the sync server is very slow sometimes. I really look forward to a custum sync server and find this discusstions. Is there any plan for this? Sorry for poor English.

Accidentally bought the app, after cursory googling and having an impression that the external sync server works. Requesting a refund from Apple, will buy again when the feature is working.

It’s currently in beta testing, so is not far off at this point.

The version history on App Store said that “Advanced users can now self-host their own sync server, using the server embedded in Anki 2.1.57+.” on 5 Feb 2023. But I still failed to sync my cards with my private server.
