I am editing Anki cards during review and sometimes I open the edit screen falsely and close it instantly. Whenever I do this Anki crashes and when I open it back, some of my progress is lost. It happens only if I close the edit screen so fast.

I am going to try it. But, I thought this was an issue with Anki itself. Since it wasn’t happening before the last three updates.
Thank you. I did it, and give it a try for a week, it still happens unfortunately. Problem is not solved.
You could try the -alternate version on Anki’s download site.
