Create and remove presets

I’m desperately trying to understand how presets work.

1/ I want to remove a preset for a deck that doesn’t exist anymore. if in Options, I click on the said preset, the deck linked to the Options window is automatically moved from its original preset to the ghost preset… so I can’t remove the preset anymore. I’m stuck.

2/ I want to add a preset with all my decks in it and at the same time, I want to keep all my current presets. that might create a conflict but what I really want to do is make simulations for all my decks together.

3/ can I remove the default preset ?

  1. Open the deck options of any deck. Change its preset to this unused preset then remove the preset using the drop down menu to the right of the save button. Finally, change the preset of the current deck back to what it was and save. Yes, this can be improved and there is a topic about this in this forum.
  2. You can’t realy do that because rhe simulations depend on the FSRS parameters which differ from preset to preset.
  3. I just tried and it said “The default configuration can’t be removed.”.

oh yes, I forgot about the FSRS parameters, thanks. that would be great to have the option to put simulations for different decks together. every simulation being different, we would just need to pile up all the curves into a single one
