Part suggestion part clarification: will there ever be built in support for code highlighting or even just a dedicated code format(without colors)?
Every add-on for this has its problems, and this is such a helpful feature.

I need to tweak my existing card templates because they somehow collide with an add-on behavior, and I also need to worry about the day were a future update breaks the add-on. Having a built-in option would be so much easier.
