Can't sort by date added

I want to complete a deck in order of the first things we learned to the latest. However, all the cards seems to come at random. I have tried to sort it by “created” as shown below:

But when I go back to “study now” the cards I get begin at random again. How do I fix this.

The order the cards are listed visually in the Browse window is controlled by column headers, but that doesn’t impact the order in a study session. Look at your deck Options for “Display Order” – Deck Options - Anki Manual .
