I broke my laptop a month ago but managed to retrieve its data, including an anki file. I have the file anki.collection2 (an ANKI2 file) which as I understand should hold all of my cards. However, I can’t import it into anki as it asks for a apkg file instead. I’ve been looking for a solution ever since but haven’t had any luck. Does anyone know of a way of translating them or just getting them back into my current deck?

If the file is valid, you can drop it into a profile folder to use it.
