Bug: ocluding math equations

If I have a card that contains an equation and I trigger cloze with ctrl+shift+c right “around” the equation, it leads to the equation disappearing and the close appearing in the wrong place. Furthermore, this can not be undone with ctr+z.

I made a video, but can not link it here.

I am using the Version ⁨23.12.1 (1a1d4d54)⁩ on Linux (Wayland)

  1. Steps to reproduce:
  2. Put a “Text (x^2) more text” into the Text input field of a cloze card.
  3. Switch focus away and back to the window, so that the latex is rendered.
  4. Place your cursor inside the equation.
  5. click the left arrow until you get out of the equation editor
  6. Press ctrl+shift+right_arrow to select the entire equation.
  7. Press ctrl+shift+c to occlude.
