Searched here for anyone else seeing strange behaviour from the Basic Printing Support addon but found nothing.
Problem
When I try to print a flash card deck using the Basic Printing Support addon, suggested in the FAQs, I get the expected result of a html file that displays in my chosen browser Firefox but then I get a 404 Not found error for http://127.0.0.1:55555/# (the port number changes each time I use either the addon or open a previous report.html) and the browser window then goes blank obviously. Up until the 404 the generated web page looks fine.
I get the same result opening the generated html file in Safari (both on my Mac and iPhone).
The generated report.html is 54Mb. It is a large flash card deck.
What is the html page trying to do and why is it doing it what is clearly late in the process?
Environment
- Anki version 25.09 (also seen the problem with v25.02.05).
- Flash card deck
King Sejong Institute Vocabulary (Beginner and Intermediate), which at the moment I cannot find on the Shared Decks list. - Firefox version 142.0.1(aarch64) with custom Enhanced Tracking Protection settings plus browser extensions Ghostery, uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger. (Also have FB Purity but that should only be acctivated when using Facebook.). And I have no intention of turning of those off.
- MacMini M1 with macOS Sequoia 15.6.
