Backsite is not shown

Hey Guys,

i have a simple problem. I just downloaded Anki on my MacBook and startet with some basic index cards. When I want to learn my cards, only the front is displayed, the back ist always unwritten, there is nothing to see on it. Is that a common bug or so, or do I have to change something in the settings.

Hi, this is certainly not a bug but some missing settings what to display on the back.

I recommend to read the introduction (Getting Started - Anki Manual) and to start with the pre-existing settings and note types.
