Backlog: Low Retention Rate for Mature Cards

Around 80%-90% is where FSRS performs the best. We’re still trying to figure out how to fix that. We might change the shape of the forgetting curve again, for the third time, but there are reasons why that’s not necessarily a good idea. At least if our goal is more than just minimizing RMSE at any cost.

You also forget that you are not a robot, it is impossible to accurately predict your memory. I have already written to you about this.

Also, do not forget that you have a backlog, so many cards could have a “Retrievability” below 95%.

What kind of “Retrievabilitydid” you have before?
