Hello! I am in trouble with my anki. When I start studying my cards, it appears on my screen a message that I must download “mplayer” or “mpv” to access the audio and video. It started to happen after I download an actualised version of anki. My PC is a MacBook Air ( apple). I am not finding how to download this programs to apple. Help me!!!
Assuming you have copied Anki.app into your Applications folder, please open Terminal.app and run the following
/Applications/Anki.app/Contents/Resources/audio/mpv --input-media-keys=no
what does it say?
For now you can probably work around the issue by installing the alternate version of Anki from the Anki download site.
