Hi, I am reviewing my custom card template, and I noticed that the function I used to show the answer is no longer working. It would be great to have an API for this, something like showAnswer in AnkiDroid. Thank you in advance!
I’m afraid I’m not sure exposing such an API publicly is a good idea, as it has the potential to cause confusion if shared decks use it.
I understand your concerns about the possible confusion with shared decks. However, I believe the proposed API can bring benefits such as improved customization and new functionalities for users. And it is something that already exists in AnkiDroid and for desktop.
