Hi, I automate card creation a lot using agents and I used to have a setup where arbitrary LLM using MCP connects to Anki Desktop through AnkiConnect. The issue is that it requires running Anki Desktop which prevents me from connecting anki to my agent working on the server I communicating with over Telegram gateway.
I’ve created a simple tool that covers this, hope it could be helpful for someone else. It isn’t perfect, but it works that matters for me. I’m open for discussions and improvements!
