I just got a new macbook and when I try to review my cards, the spacebar does not work. It wont flip the card or anything. I have tried opening it with no add ons and the problem is still there. Anyone know how to solve this?
- Have you checked Tools > Preferences > Review – to make sure that the Spacebar is enabled for that?
- If it is enabled, what about hitting Enter instead? Does that work for showing-answer/grading?
Yes, typing enter makes it work! Do you know how I can switch it to the spacebar?
If the setting is on, and only one of them works – is your spacebar being diverted for some other use?
- Do you have any add-ons that map shortcuts? Regardless of whether you think you do or not, does this still happen when your add-ons are disabled? [Hold down Shift when starting until you see the confirmation message.]
- Do you have any JavaScript or type-answer boxes on the card that are waiting for text input?
Yes it still happens when the add ons are turned off. And no, I do not believe so to the second point. Maybe it has something to do with the new mac software?
It might. Which new Mac software are you thinking it could be?
What language is your keyboard set to?
