You’re right that it doesn’t have a solution, but we suggested several things to check and asked questions. Have you tried/checked those things?

Anki Spacebar Not Working

Have you checked Tools > Preferences > Review – to make sure that the Spacebar is enabled for that? If it is enabled, what about hitting Enter instead? Does that work for showing-answer/grading?
