Anki no longer warns you about incorrect fields in CSV file

try to import the following

#separator:;
#html:false
(1st) this is a text; it has a back side
(2nd) this is another text without a separator
(3rd) text with a; back side

old anki used to warn you about the second note. it used to tell you that it has no separator and therefore it will not import it (unless you tell it to do so)…

new anki just imports it. therefore, you will end up with a note that has no back side

is this a bug? or intended behavior?

thank you

Hmm, it looks like this would be somewhat tricky to re-add as before I’m afraid. We could more easily abort the entire import if there are a mismatched number of fields, but I’m not sure people would consider that an improvement. :slight_smile:
