Anki doesn't respond anymore

Hi, every time I’ve tried to open up the Anki now. I’m left with a blank white tab. The tab eventually says (“Not Responding” - as all apps do when they stop working).
So far I’ve tried:

  • Restarting the app and my computer
  • Downgrading to an earlier version and removing add ons, which hasn’t made a difference
  • Uninstalling it and redownloading it
  • Updating my computer and ALL of it’s drivers, then updating to the latest version of Anki on the Anki website.
    I’m really desperate to fix this so would anyone have an idea on what to do?

You could try renaming your prefs21.db file to reset Anki’s settings: Managing Files - Anki Manual

You could also try changing the video driver: Display Issues - Anki Manual
