ANKI desktop image err report

Hello!
First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who works for the development of Anki.
I would like to report an error in ANKI

The environment I am using is like this

OS : Windows 11 home
ANKI version :

  1. Problem
  • After synchronizing after editing at least twice with Open image in the Edit field on PC 1, only the part edited once is displayed on PC 2.
  1. Specific explanation
  1. Right-click the image in ANKI’s card on PC1 and click Open image.

  2. Edit the image on PC1 (when I click open image, it connects to Windows 3D Paint)

  3. I close ANKI on PC1 and restart it( In order to see the reflected image after modifying the picture, I had to reboot Anki to see it! ), I can see that the picture revision has been reflected properly on PC1.

  4. After synchronizing PC1, it is displayed normally when turned on on PC2.

  5. Edit the picture once more on PC1

  6. Picture revision 2 (red pen) is displayed on PC1, but not on synchronized PC2.

Even if I do full synchronization, the same problem occurs.

I would really appreciate it if you could fix this error.
I’m having trouble with the same problem on my tablet.

That’s all as-expected. Anki doesn’t scan all of you media every time you sync – Syncing with AnkiWeb - Anki Manual – and edits within a file, done outside of Anki, aren’t enough to register as a change. To get an edit like that to sync –

  • Add or remove a file from the collection.media folder. Or wait for that to happen in the natural course of things.
  • In Preferences > Syncing, log out of AnkiWeb. On your next sync, when you log in again, media will be re-scanned for changes.

The trick I use is to rename the file and then rename it back. A renamed file is detected as a new file by Anki and is synced, even if you rename it back to its original name.
