I’m still encountering download failures in China even when a mirror is configured (Windows 11 24H2)

I’m a new forum user and can’t attach videos or links, so here is one of the error outputs:

I receive a warning in the settings that it’s been a while since I optimized my preset. I click Optimize, the parameters change and a notification that FSRS can adapt well to my memory. Does this mean that the new parameters are better ? Should I save the new params? I think it is confusing ….

New parameters are applied automatically if they are better than the old ones. No actions from the user required.
You can disable ā€œhealth checkā€, if you want.

Reviewing cards on ankidroid 2.22.3 and then running Check Database on anki 25.08b5 will always cause a full sync to be needed (due to the last review times being added)

Not every ankidroid user can upgrade (old devices etc.), and making full syncs more common might cause users to unknowingly lose work (The dreaded conflict between decks pop-up)

For the benefit of others, this has moved to Fix mirror configuration not working during launcher download by aldlss Ā· Pull Request #4280 Ā· ankitects/anki Ā· GitHub

Thanks, logged on launcher spawns many windows on macOS Ā· Issue #4304 Ā· ankitects/anki Ā· GitHub

I just added a note using an add-on, found that note and a pre-existing note in the Browser, copied the old one’s tags, and tried pasting them into the new one.

Then apparently the backup event happened, and the new note’s cards became ā€œ(deleted)ā€.

The Undo menu item was about updating note, so the note is lost, and undoing ā€œUpdate Noteā€ does not enable ā€œRedoā€.

Maybe I pressed Ctrl-z in the wrong place? I thought for a moment that the tags were wrong.
