I’m not sure why you are getting “Your file couldn’t be accessed” error. Judging from your previous description you were encountering a different issue, and then maybe moved the extension folder or renamed something in its path.
The original problem, it looks like, is due to you trying to download something from the new Memrise site, which is not what the extension was designed to do in the first place. The old courses it supports were moved by Memrise to a different domain since then, and now can be found here:
https://community-courses.memrise.com/community/courses
Oh! I somehow completely missed that this extension was for downloading community courses only. So sorry and thanks for your time!
It works with old official courses as well, but after Memrise changed their model from courses to scenarios browsing them directly is no longer possible. Still, if you get old url or course id from somewhere, you should be able to download the data using batch download.

I have a problem. The situation occurs using the Anki mobile app with the type in the answer note type. I can type a response, however I cannot submit my response to see if it is correct or not. Can you please assist?
That is not an issue related to downloading courses from Memrise.
How your cards work depends on the Note type you used to make them.
If you are implying that the problem occurs for you with the Memrise template, please post the relevant information, like the version of the template, a screenshot of a card with a typing question, and a description of what exactly is not working in the following thread:

The extension should still be working, but I can’t comment on why something doesn’t go for you as intended without you sharing any information on what you are trying to do. Can you provide a link to the course you are trying to download or a screenshot showing your process?

I see, you are trying to download courses from the “new experience” site, while the extension was written for the version of the site that was subsequently moved to community-courses.memrise.com domain. You can check out the list of its courses here: Memrise, or, in case you have links to the old official courses saved somewhere, there might still be a way of recovering them as well.
