Could you add those three options for Game Pad?
- Show Answer/Answer (Again)
- Show Answer/Answer (Hard)
- Show Answer/Answer (Easy)

I’m not sure that’s a great idea. The Good button is the one a typical user will be using the majority of the time, so it makes sense for it to be the one that also reveals the answer. The other answer buttons will be more rarely used, so it does not make as much sense for them to serve two purposes.

Hi, I am using a game controller with AnkiMobile on iPhone and I would like to request a small but important feature. In the gamepad customization settings, there is a combined option “Show Answer/Answer Good”, but this hybrid function is missing for other ratings like Again, Hard, and Easy. Because of this limitation, I have to press two buttons if I want to give any answer other than “Good” (once to show the answer and once to rate the card). Could you please add “Show Answer/Answer Again”, “Show Answer/Answer Hard”, and “Show Answer/Answer Easy” as built-in options in the controller settings? This would make the study flow much more fluid and consistent for all controller users. Thank you!
As Damien explained above, this won’t be added.
That small amount of friction serves a purpose, and it mirrors the use of the [Space] keyboard shortcut on desktop. Good is the answer you should be giving most often – Studying - Anki Manual . If you are going to give a Hard/Easy grade, you should be giving that some thought – if you’re doing to give an Again grade, you should be stopping to do what it takes to relearn the answer.
