To prevent abuse, new accounts must meet certain criteria before this action is allowed. You’ll be able to continue once your account is older. Thank you for your understanding.

The criteria are probably not revealed to avoid bad actors trying to work around the restriction, but I’m sure an exception can be made for your account.

Based on your account history, you should be “grandfather”-ed in. Let’s ask @dae to check on that when he’s available.

I created a new account. I don’t use the same email address as in this forum.

That would explain it then! You can use your active account to share the add-on, like you have with your others.

In the except same scenario, was it resolved? I want to use anki for my a levels.

  • At what point do you get that error?
  • Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies for ankiweb.net and signing in again?

Not being able to share an add-on shouldn’t prevent you from studying for your A levels. Are you sure you’re having the same problem?

Yes so I have 3 sets of flash cards to add to my account, which my older students had made, however it says my account is too new to add them.

If you have decks that you want to study, you need to import them, not share them.
