Access decks with a keyboard shortcut

Hey everyone! I’m new to this forum so please let me know if there’s anything I should change about my question

I would like to access the different decks on the Windows app using keyboard shortcuts, but I don’t know how yet :frowning: After pressing every key on my keyboard the only thing I found is that pressing “S” shows the deck you studied last, but I’d like to access any deck.

I use AutoHotkey and I wanted to use for the aforementioned purpose. But the only think I can think of so far is using mouse coordinates, since that’s how I normally access my decks. I could definitely use that, but that might create a problem when I change the window layout and I’m sure there must another way!

Thank you in advance

press / and then type deck name

then press enter

I wouldn’t have thought of the forward slash! You see, in my keyboard there’s no separate key for it and I have to press Shift + 7.

May I ask how do you know that? Maybe there are tons of keyboard shortcuts that I don’t know about and that could be very useful.

Thank you for your answer

that particular shortcut can be found here in the manual: https://docs.ankiweb.net/studying.html?highlight=key#keyboard-shortcuts

For a complete list, I don’t know of an official source but using this add-on you can get the list in a round about way through the config: https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/24411424 (note: this addon may not be working on latest version, change log says 1.2.43 works)

Another unofficial source: https://laymn.com/anki-keyboard-shortcuts/ (I can attest to a good number of those being accurate, can’t say for all or for latest version of anki)

One source you can probably rely on is that shortcuts are given next to menu items within anki, of course this is not a convenient list of all shortcuts in one place, as you might like.
